Who Are We?

Titan Robotics is the robotics team from TC Williams High School. Titan Robotics was started in the 2014-2015 school year with one goal: to spread awareness of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to the local community by competing every season in the FIRST Robotics Competition. The team is student led with a small number of mentors helping to supervise operations. Our mentors come from a variety of backgrounds including the Navy, CSC, past FIRST Competitors, and even TV Production. Going forward, Titan Robotics looks to further involve and educate our community in STEM and to continue to represent the ACPS and Alexandria in the FIRST Community.

What Do We Do?

We are an FRC team, meaning that we compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. FIRST is a non-profit public charity that designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills. In the robotics competition, teams made of an unlimited number of students and mentors, design, build, and program a robot in six weeks to complete that year's challenge.
