FRC Team 5587 gives back to our community and promotes STEAM awareness through events in the classroom and in the community.
Who We Are
Titan Robotics, FRC Team 5587, is a student-run FIRST robotics team from Alexandria City High School (formerly TC Williams High School) in Alexandria, Virginia. In 2024, Titan Robotics is celebrating 10 Years of Innovation!
What We Do
Titan Robotics builds robots each year to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. In addition, we promote STEAM awareness in our school and community by conducting outreach events and supporting robotics teams for younger children.
Why We Do It
By arming students with knowledge and engaging with our community, we ensure the longevity of our team and are able to give back to our community by supporting STEAM opportunities and hands-on learning.
Our Impact
Through participation in this team, high school students gain real-world experience in many fields of interest: not only can they learn engineering and technical skills, but also critical nontechnical skills which can be directly applied to whatever future career they pursue.
